Self taught, she started off mixing two tracks together in her bedroom at the age of 17. Within four short years later achieving some huge accomplishments. Over the past 5 years, London based DJ and producer 'Khonsu The Child' has supported some of the biggest names in the dance music scene. Releases on some of the world's leading labels, including Warner Music and New York’s legendary King Street Sounds, has landed him residencies across Europe, including London, France and Ibiza. His records have featured multiple times on the heavyweight tech house channel 'Blanc', as well as appearing on Spotify's own curated dance playlists.
Joe started to learn his craft as a DJ in his teens as he grew up in Leicester. Moving up north to Leeds, he played increasingly frequently in small clubs and bars, mainly to student audiences.
As his notoriety increased in the bubble of Leeds, larger promotions companies and venues started to notice the energetic style in which Joe played and still plays to this day.
Joe has a strong knowledge of hip-hop / r&b old and new, as well as a passion for house, disco and tech house (operating under his alias “JOLO”). This has enabled him to play a range of different gigs to students and young professionals alike, from grungy Applebum hip-hop events in a repurposed warehouse in Birmingham, to regular Ibiza inspired Sunday session’s on Angelica rooftop in Leeds.
