Getting Here

There are a host of transport options to choose from depending on your budget, how long you want to spend traveling and your preferences for getting from A to Ski.

By Plane

Christmas is an expensive time to fly anywhere, but there are ways you can keep your flight cost down.

  • Book flights to Geneva. This airport is the most well connected internationally and to all UK cities. The flights are out earlier in the year too, so more chance to grab a bargain.
  • Book your flights early. Sounds obvious, but the closer we get to December the higher those prices soar.
  • Get the first flight out and the last flight back. A 4:00am start doesn’t sound appealing but saving €200 does.
  • Clear your cookies. Honestly, it’s not a myth. Just do it.
  • Have points? Use them.
  • Use flight comparison sites and set up a price alert on your phone.
  • If you can’t find the return flights you need, book two separate flights into one airport and out of another.

Geneva is the most well connected airport for Rise, serving both international flights and budget airlines to all over the UK. These flights are usually available the earliest in the year, so are more likely to grab a bargain. You can book transfers directly with Rise Festival for Geneva.

These will be available in the Spring.

This is our closest airport you can fly to. There are multiple bus transfers that run to Les 2 Alpes from Grenoble and it takes just under two hours to get there. Transfers are available throughs external operators but only from September.

Lyon is a little further away, but only by 45 minutes. Transfer time is estimated at 2 hours 35 mins. Transfers are available throughs external operators from September.
